**We are looking for**:
Byron Shire Council is currently seeking a Project Officer - 1000 Voices. The position will be part of the Ending Rough Sleeping Collaboration Byron Shire’s (ERSCBS) Backbone Team where you will work collaboratively to lead the design and delivery of the 1000 Voices Project. The aim of the 1000 Voices Project is to engage diverse members of Byron Shire community to gather their insights on the impacts of local homelessness, to surface local strengths, aspirations and ideas on the changes needed to solve local homelessness.
**About you**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Impact, Social Policy, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.
- 3 years or more experience working in the Human Services or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to co-deliver Collective Impact informed and/or Community Engagement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and lead strategic partnerships to achieve shared goals, as well as excellent communication, consultation, engagement, and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated high level project management skills with the proven ability to meet agreed deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think conceptually and analytically, carry out social research and to develop new policy or project options, to contribute to ending homelessness.
**We offer**:
- A three (3) month Maximum term, part time position (21 hours per week)

- Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $1,568.10 to $1,816.88 per 35 hour week (dependent upon skills and experience)

**Location**:
This position is based at Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
