We’re looking for an experienced and safety-focused**Underground Mining Supervisor (Deputy) to join our team at Chain Valley Colliery. In this role, you’ll lead, guide, and support your crew to achieve safe and efficient production, while building a culture that embodies our values.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead and supervise underground mining operations in line with statutory and site requirements.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, mine safety management plans, and operational procedures.
- Foster a team environment that prioritises safety, efficiency, and well-being.
- Mentor and develop team members, empowering them to perform at their best.
- Collaborate with other leaders to achieve production and maintenance goals.

**Selection Criteria**
- Certificate of Competency as a Deputy, Undermanager or Mine Manager.
- Current Practising Certificate and up to date logbook.
- Leadership skills / experience with a focus on managing a team operating in an underground environment.
- Experience in the prioritisation of panel resources to optimise and continually improve results while safely maintaining and improving standards.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage all activities in accordance with relevant WH&S and Environmental obligations.
