MacKillop House in Norwest is our new 104 bed residential home that opened its doors to the community in November 2021. The Home has an onsite wellness hub which is open to the local community and our Home Care clients; it is a Home designed to reflect the ‘future of aged care’.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Residential Manager to join our team at MacKillop House in Norwest. This role will be supported by a Deputy Residential Manager, Quality & Education Manager, Administration Manager and passionate staff who will thrive working underneath your strong motivational leadership. You will also have close access to your Regional Manager and support from other centralised support services within the organisation.

The primary focus of this role is ensuring our residents are achieving the highest possible quality of life and all aspects of operations and resources are aligned to achieve this purpose. You will manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the home including operational, clinical, administration, financial, hospitality, maintenance and lifestyle and continue to forge strong relationships with residents and families.

Experience managing teams and cultivating a positive community centred culture whilst maintaining clinical standards is essential.
- To be successful in this role you will ideally have:_
- Completion of tertiary qualifications in nursing, healthcare, or similar (Bachelor of Nursing)
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Significant experience managing a single-site residential aged care home, encompassing clinical care, food services, and administration
- Strong team leadership experience, with demonstrated abilities across all people management activities
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high emotional intelligence
- Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- A passion for operational excellence in aged care
