**The opportunity to join our team**
- Reporting to the General Manager Risk - Advice, Marketing & Enablement, you will play a key role in ensuring a sound risk and compliance culture, and stronger risk outcomes for Insignia Financial. You will focus on leading a small team to provide Line 2 oversight of Insignia’s Marketing, Brand and Enablement Functions, including People & Culture, Legal and Company Secretariat.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for helping to build a strong and highly regarded Risk Management team.
- Provision of effective Line 2 review and challenge across Insignia’s Enablement and Marketing business.
- Provision of risk management expertise and best practice advice that is aligned to the businesses’ risk frameworks and risk appetite.
- Line 2 oversight of business planning activities.
- Cultivating and fostering enduring relationships with the business.
- Promote improved risk management discussions and outcomes through your business influence and engagement.
- Work fluently across other Risk Management functions in order to have end-to-end visibility.
- Key contributor in the reporting process to Board and Board Committees.

**What you will bring**
- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Services sector
- Deep knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks
- Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector
- Ability to plan, lead and execute activity across a team
- Commercial acumen with strategic capability
- Strong analytical, verbal and report writing skills
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solve in a complex environment
- Strong people leadership skills, demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others and foster a positive team environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline
