**Elcies Disability Care** (EDC), part of Lutheran Care, provides services to clients with disabilities who are in receipt of an NDIS plan. We provide person-centred, evidence-based positive behaviour support to a broad range of age groups and presentations with complex needs. EDC offers opportunities for Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioners to build their caseload portfolio and receive regular clinical supervision to develop their skills and progress along the NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Capability Framework.

**About the Role**:

- As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:_
- Support children and adults with disabilities to achieve their goals, by focussing on increasing quality of life, and reducing and eliminating the use of restrictive practices.
- Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans based on functional behaviour assessment.
- Foster relationships with clients, their families, and our team.
- Contribute to positive outcomes for our clients.
- Practitioners with appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration have the opportunity to hold a mixed caseload of PBS and Capacity Building clients (e.g., Developmental Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychotherapy, and Psychology).

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**
- Essential Criteria:_
- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Core or above).
- Experience in completing functional behaviour assessments and developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans.
- Tertiary degree in Allied Health (Psychology, OT, Speech Pathologist), Disability/Developmental Education, Social Work or equivalent.
- Registered with the appropriate National Body (e.g. Full membership of Developmental Educators Australia Inc. or Membership with Australian Association of Social Workers).
- Experience working within the NDIS sector, including towards NDIS Plan Goals.
- Have experience working on billable hours and be able to work autonomously or within a team.
