Job Description
We're expanding our
North Perth Positive Behaviour Support team
and are excited to
welcome passionate graduates ready to launch their careers as Behaviour Support Practitioners
. With full training, structured development, and a warm, collaborative team environment, you'll be supported every step of the way as you make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families across our community.
Successful candidates will be providing supports to NDIS participants living in the
North Perth Region.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
- Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
- Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
- Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions and strengths.
- Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.

You will have weekly supervision and we have multiple layers of support and training for our BSPs
Qualifications
- Completed a degree level qualification as an allied health professional is desired
- Report writing experience
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
- Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
