Each practitioner is matched with a mentor/senior to ensure that both our participants and practitioners get the best we can offer.

The Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team on a contract basis. You will provide high-quality Positive Behaviour Support services to NDIS participants, supported by a collaborative and mentoring environment.

You will:

  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in line with NDIS Commission standards.
  • Deliver training and coaching to families, support staff, and service providers to ensure effective implementation of plans.
  • Monitor progress and review plans regularly to maintain fidelity and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, support coordinators, and families.
  • Participate in regular mentorship and peer review sessions to enhance clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Quality Assurance: Deliver evidence-based behaviour support; ensure BSPs meet best-practice standards and NDIS compliance.

Case Management: Manage a balanced caseload and ensure timely report delivery.

Collaboration & Consultation: Participate in regular case reviews with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, data, and reports with 100% compliance to NDIS and EPS standards.

Skills & Experience

Essential Skills

  • Solid knowledge of Behaviour Support principles and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and clinical communication skills.
  • Strong report writing and analytical ability.
  • Capacity to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in digital case management systems (e.g., iinsight, Microsoft 365).

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years experience as an NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient or above preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop BSPs.
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of restrictive practices, risk management, and positive behaviour support principles.
