**About the opportunity**
Our Finance team is growing An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and driven Finance specialist to join our Head Office team located in the Sydney CBD.
You will report to the Group Finance Controller and support the finance function by performing a range of financial administration duties, including accounts receivable, data entry and assist with end of month closing.
**About the Role**
- Process daily admission and discharges for new and departing residents.
- Process monthly government funding reconciliations.
- Respond to all incoming billing queries from relevant stakeholders.
- Assisting clients with fee queries, annual rental changes, and payment arrangements.
- Conduct Fortnightly & Monthly Billing runs.
- Working knowledge of the Aged Care Act (1997) and legislation as it relates to fees and billing.
- Processing RAD/Bond and Rental receipts and Refunds.
- Maintaining good working relationships with external stakeholders and organisations.
- Reviewing charges and expenditure.
**About You**
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- 1-2+ Years working in AR and/or billings in a healthcare/aged care environment.
- Time management skills, ability to prioritise and plan
- Ability to work with competing deadlines
- An empathetic nature and great listening skills will be essential.
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills, polite in approach
- Ability to start ASAP.
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
- Highly organised with strong planning skills.
