**About the role**

We have an exciting full time, permanent opportunity for a motivated individual with current industry knowledge and experience in School Based Education Support (or related discipline), to join our Wollongong West team in the role of School Based Education Support Officer (ESO).

Working within a team of industry professionals, the School Based Education Support Officer is supervised by the Head Teacher. The role is responsible for a range of activities which support learners and enhances the student learning experience.

**_ Note_**_: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment_.

**About You**

We are looking for motivated and engaged individuals who have the ability to meet the following Selection Criteria:

- Certificate IV in School Based Education Support or equivalent qualification in similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience in the Education Industry (two years +).
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining currency related to the industry.
- Ability to analyse course information and communicate clearly to support students to achieve successful course completion.
- Commitment and ability to support and motivate students in an adult learning environment.
- Computer literate with skills in the use of MS Office suite.
