About the Role

Role Overview

The Incident Response Specialist role will be a key component of the security incident response team, providing experience and capability around the management of major cyber security incidents both in the corporate environment, and in the Operational Technology context. The creation and maintenance of IR runbooks, preparation and prior planning for Cyber Security incidents, development of high-quality incident reporting, and strong communication skills will be key to success for this role.

What you’ll be doing- Monitor and respond to security events, creating procedures as needed.- Handle front-line analysis and escalation of security events, including hacktivism and cybercrime.- Support the cyber incident response plan, ensuring proper assessment, containment, and mitigation.- Analyze incident data, offer root cause analysis, and recommend preventive measures.- Identify and address gaps in incident response runbooks and security tooling, producing detailed incident reports for management.

About you- Proven experience in large cyber incident management and IR plan development.- Highly desirable experience in OT cyber incident management.- 2+ years of experience in cyber security operations/engineering.- Strong knowledge of automated security control systems, encryption, threat intelligence, and incident response.- Proficiency in incident response lifecycle, various operating systems, TCP/IP networking, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
