The Royal Women’s Hospital is Australia’s first and largest specialist hospital dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of newborns and women of all ages. To join the Women’s is to be instrumental in forging progress towards health equity for women from ground-breaking research through to the bedside delivery of multi-disciplinary clinical care.

Creating exceptional experiences is at the heart of everything we do for our patients, their families, and our people across our specialised services within maternity, neonatal and women’s health.

We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our collaborative People, Culture and Wellbeing team. This is a newly created role and will lead the development of talent acquisition initiatives that enable the Women’s to attract the skilled and diverse workforce required to meet our evolving requirements as our health service grows into the future.

We are looking for someone in this role who can hit the ground running and quickly add value to our highly motivated team.

**Your contribution**

This role will suit someone who is an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with demonstrated results in creating exceptional experiences for potential and new employees. As someone who excels at developing rapport with a range of key stakeholders you will use your skills to:

- Develop a strong understanding of the organisation and build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a focused, consistent, and coordinated approach to talent acquisition initiatives
- Actively contribute to strategic workforce planning processes in order to identify talent acquisition needs over the longer term and develop talent acquisition plans to meet the Women’s workforce needs
- In collaboration with the Communications team, identify opportunities for building brand awareness by communicating the Employee Value Proposition through identified digital and physical channels
- Work closely with Workforce Data & Reporting to provide regular, robust reports and analysis of the progress and effectiveness of recruitment strategies and campaigns
- Contribute and commit to a culture that promotes gender equity, respect and a safe working environment and have an understanding of violence against women and family violence issues

**About you**

To be successful within this role you will need to have:

- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition including strong capability accessing talent within competitive markets and hard-to-fill disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills including the ability to rapidly build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Well developed knowledge and experience in the development of end-to-end recruitment practices, using a range of best practice and innovative selection methods
- Experience in the development and implementation of targeted and well marketed recruitment campaigns
- Demonstrated experience utilising recruitment databases and strategic sourcing and talent pipelining methods
- Ability to rapidly understand the healthcare resourcing landscape
- Proven organisational skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritise workload and work well in an environment with competing demands
- Demonstrated skill in the collation and analysis of recruitment-related data, providing astute insights to the business that informs future recruitment decisions
- Proven experience developing and managing projects
- Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement opportunities and investing the required effort to bring about change
