What your typical day will look like:
As the Art Director - Social, you will be responsible for establishing and uplifting the social capability and offering across the agencies key portfolios, guiding the projects art direction whilst creating engaging socially led content and assets for our clients. You will have a natural love of social - this is your world, and you will be keen to share your enthusiasm and knowledge of new techniques and trends with the rest of the agency.
Core responsibilities include:
- Development and execution of visual elements from conception, through design, pre-production and delivery across all things social.
- Bring the new iterative world of socially led brand engagement to life through conceptual creativity and ideas, backed with craft skills and effective art direction.
- Ensure that the work delivers against the brief.
- Collaborate with Copywriters, Creative Leaders, Account Managers, Designers, Strategists and Production to develop social advertising for all media, with a focus on modern creativity.
- Be up to date, and share with the creative teams, the latest social trends to ensure that we continue to uncover new ideas, techniques and opportunities for our clients.
- You deliver a high level of conceptual ability, producing commercially viable and potentially award-winning ideas for Clients.
A bit about you:
- You bring 3-5 years’ experience within a creative role (graphic designer, copywriter, art director or hybrid) across social.
- A portfolio showcasing creativity, variety in tonality, passion, and successful social campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail, producing polished final pieces.
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving and creativity
- Versatility in working across various projects, with proficiency in Adobe Suite as well as other programs/tools to create and deliver social assets with bonus points for additional creative skills like video editing.
- You can move at pace with an ability to produce high volume social assets whilst maintaining quality and verticality.
- Understanding of brand, product, social media, and how people interact with each of them.
- Exposure working with strategy, production, account service and wider creatives.
- You’re curious by nature, in touch with culture, the latest trends and what’s happening in the world keeping brands relevant, especially in the social space.
