The Role

The Arts Marketing Coordinator is instrumental in contributing towards the delivery of the Creative Plan and the events, services and programs of the Creative Communities Department. This position is responsible for leading and delivering the development, creation, implementation and evaluation of a range of communications strategies and plans.

The role is to connect and attract people to engage with arts, culture and events by devising appropriate communication plans relevant to the cultural activity. The role works to promote and connect people to a wide range of cultural experiences, including performances at PRACC, festivals & events, Ziebell’s Farmhouse Museum, creative workshops and visual arts.

About you

The Arts Marketing Coordinator is a dynamic position that has a deep understanding of the creative sector and arts marketing strategies. You will have a strategic mindset to devise communication plans, and the skill to deliver actions in a timely manner to deliver exceptional cultural outcomes.

You will have experience in arts marketing and translating creative programs into content that connects and reaches target audiences. You will have audience development experience, strong copywriting skills, experience in digital content, and highly developed organisational skills.

There is a renewed enthusiasm and revitalisation of the Creative Communities department and creative direction, making it an exciting time to join the team. You will have a strong commitment to the arts and an understanding of the impact arts & culture can have to community wellbeing, economic impact, and social cohesion & belonging.
