Picture yourself as the creative visionary behind one of Australia's most celebrated luxury fashion houses, where your artistic direction shapes how contemporary elegance is experienced globally. You'll transcend traditional art direction – becoming the architect of digital storytelling that translates intelligent design into captivating e-commerce experiences. In this prestigious position, you'll lead the creative vision for the client's e-commerce platform, transforming each collection into compelling visual narratives that resonate with discerning clientele worldwide. You'll orchestrate the complete production cycle while championing the brand's commitment to sophisticated craftsmanship and contemporary femininity.

In the first twelve months

- Direct all e-commerce imagery across on-body, hang lay, and flat lay formats for an internationally recognised luxury brand

- Develop advanced artistic expertise through strategic creative direction that drives global e-commerce performance

- Lead a dedicated team including E-commerce Stylist and Sample Coordinator while collaborating with cross‑functional partners

- Translate the brand's design room vision into elevated, commercially effective product imagery with international appeal

Why You'll Love Working With This Brand

This distinguished fashion house represents the pinnacle of contemporary Australian luxury with significant international presence and recognition. As E-commerce Art Director, you'll join a creative powerhouse that has been defining sophisticated femininity and intelligent design for decades.

Your career with this celebrated client includes:

- Working with a globally recognised Australian luxury fashion brand with international market reach and expansion

- Being part of an inspiring, design‑focused environment at the heart of Melbourne's creative fashion scene

- Leading creative direction that influences global brand perception and international customer engagement

- Access to world‑class design teams, premium production resources, and cutting‑edge digital platforms

- Opportunities for international collaboration and exposure through global brand initiatives

- Comprehensive professional development aligned with the brand's innovative creative vision

Your Key Responsibilities

This role transcends conventional art direction – you'll create comprehensive visual experiences that reflect the brand's design philosophy across international markets. Your creative leadership will include:

- Leading art direction for all e‑commerce shoots, ensuring styling, product accuracy, and model presentation align with global brand standards

- Partnering with the design room to capture creative intent for each delivery and translate it into internationally compelling e‑commerce direction

- Managing and developing the E‑commerce Stylist and Sample Coordinator, ensuring execution aligns with the design room's vision

- Directing photographers and overseeing production management for hang lay, flat lay, and on‑body shoots with international quality standards

- Leading image selection and post‑production processes, working with retouching partners to ensure accuracy in colour, fit, and fabric detail

- Collaborating with the Digital Team to ensure timely delivery of assets that drive global online performance and brand equity

The Ideal Candidate

We're seeking a visionary creative leader who embodies this brand's commitment to sophisticated artistry and contemporary excellence. The successful candidate will have:

- Proven art direction experience in luxury fashion or high‑end retail, with understanding of international market dynamics

- Exceptional creative vision with elevated aesthetic sensibility and strong attention to styling and photography detail

- Confident leadership abilities with experience directing stylists, photographers, and creative teams

- Commercial acumen with understanding of how e‑commerce imagery drives global engagement and conversion

- Collaborative mindset with ability to work seamlessly across cross‑functional teams and international stakeholders

- Process‑driven approach with meticulous attention to detail and quality control

If you've distinguished yourself in roles such as Senior Art Director, Creative Director, or Fashion Art Director in luxury brands, we'd love to hear from you.

How To Apply

We believe in the potential of visionary creatives who are passionate about luxury fashion, artistic excellence, and creating internationally compelling experiences. Even if your background doesn't match every requirement, we encourage ambitious creative leaders to apply.
