Manage the development of, and undertake, program and project evaluations in consultation with OIR business units.
- Lead the implementation and development of the OIR Program Evaluation Framework including fostering culture change and capability development.
- Provide authoritative technical advice on research and projects, including setting targets, meeting budgetary constraints, evaluation and review and reporting of outcomes.
- Prepare or contribute to; submissions, recommendations, briefings, correspondence, research reports and policy papers as required for the consideration of the Deputy Director, Director-General and the Minister and other senior public and private sector managers.
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the unit over which you have responsibility. This includes ensuring you and your team members are aware of and observing their responsibilities and obligations including under relevant OIR HSW policies and procedures.

- Demonstrate high level evaluation skills and experience including analytical and conceptual skills as evidenced by the ability to research, develop, review and evaluate innovative and comprehensive program and project specific evaluation and monitoring models relevant to the outcomes required in complex and dynamic workplace environments.
- Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to achieve independently and/or as a leader or member of a team, in a changing work environment.
- Exhibit high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills directed towards successful establishment and maintenance of relationships with stakeholders and the provision of high-level advice to the Minister, Director-General and Government.
