About the organisation

Be part of an initiative building the capability, evidence, and impact of Queensland's early childhood education and care workforce.

The Bryan Education Foundation is collaborating with the sector to codesign and establish a new organisation (a Queensland Early Years Workforce Institute) dedicated to strengthening the knowledge, skills, and depth of Queensland's early years workforce — a core action under the Queensland Early Childhood Workforce Strategy 2023–2027.

Until September 2026, will see The Bryan Education Foundation lead the development of the new independent entity, co-designing how and what the Institute will focus on, and trial some workforce planning and development initiatives.

About the role

The Data & Evaluation Specialist designs and maintains the Institute's evaluation framework, evidence agenda, and workforce data analysis to measure and communicate sector impact.

The role leads data collection and analysis, supports pilot projects, and prepares evaluation reports and dashboards to guide workforce strategy and improvement.

About you

You're an analytical thinker who enjoys turning data into insight and insight into action. With experience in program evaluation and outcomes measurement, you bring an ability to interpret complex findings clearly and collaboratively.

Key skills and experience:
  • Experience designing and implementing evaluation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in evaluation, data analytics, or social science
  • Experience commissioning or managing external evaluators and consultants.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A current open driver's licence is required.

  • Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia

What we offer
  • Access to DGR1 salary packaging — package up to $15,900 (everyday expenses) and $2,650 (meals/entertainment), giving up to ~$7,000 in additional take-home pay (depending on your personal circumstances).
