The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Corporate Partnerships Officer to coordinate the delivery of NGV corporate partnerships, including implementation of agreements, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for growth.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

- Drafting, monitoring and servicing NGV partnership agreements, ensuring compliance by both corporate partners and the NGV and coordinating and managing timely invoicing and contract renewal.
- Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to develop partnership presentations and collateral ensuring maximum accuracy and design values. Assisting the team with drafting and coordinating correspondence to corporate partners and prospects.
- Cultivating relationships with NGV corporate partners by representing the department at external meetings and maximising opportunities to align partners’ business objectives to the NGV’s exhibitions, programs and major projects.

To be successful, you will have experience in account managing partnerships with the corporate sector, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications. You have sound knowledge of marketing principles in terms of branding, positioning and business development. You establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels, forge useful partnerships with people across business areas, functions and organisations. You build trust through consistent actions, values and communication, cooperate and work well with others in the pursuit of team goals, collaborate and share information, accommodate and work well with the different working styles of others. You take concrete steps to add value for the stakeholder, link people with other areas (as appropriate) and identify creative opportunities. You can monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction, constructively deal with stakeholder issues, constantly look for continuous improvement opportunities and ways to innovate and makes specific changes in work methods to improve outcomes, quality and timeliness of service.

Marketing, communications and/or business qualifications will be well regarded. An appreciation and enthusiasm for the arts, particularly the visual arts, as well as an understanding of the arts industry and relevant government legislation is highly beneficial.
