**About the role**:
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Release Manager to join our Customer Experience (CX) team. This role will own the release management strategy for Officeworks, ensuring all code is released to development, test and production environments efficiently, safely and securely. Responsible for coordinating all release content to endure appropriate standards and ensuring processes have been met, whilst being the final approver for all code to the online environment.

**About you**:

Your exceptional communication skills allow you to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and will see you collaborate and connect cross-functionally with ease. You’ll need the ability to influence, negotiate and get buy in from stakeholders and be someone who gets a kick out of challenging the status quo - If you have ideas, share them You’ll understand the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and love working closely with a development team, to refine release scripts and assess automation and integration opportunities to ensure smooth release across the platform and other online systems. You will also maintain a release repository, manage UAT, participate in change approval boards and set up and govern release readiness reviews.

**Ideally you will also have**:

- Relevant IT Degree
- Formal Training in Project Management Principals and ITIL Certification highly desirable
- Significant experience working within Software Development ideally within eCommerce
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
- Excellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
