Our client is a large, ASX listed retail organisation that has a diverse portfolio of businesses within their group. The business has grown to revenues over $1.7B in recent years and has worked hard to deliver a healthy net profit. This growth has been driven via both acquisition & organic growth and they now employ more than 5,000 staff across Australia. Despite growing considerably over the last decade, the business still embraces the family values instilled many years ago. You will be joining an experienced team that have a great record of success & you will become integral to ensuring this continues into the future. The business supports hybrid working with most employees working 3 days in the office & 2 days working from home.
**The Role**
This purpose of this role is to support a well-established Payroll team. They have a close-knit environment that share similar values around inclusivity, superior customer service, learning/development, and a dedicated work ethic. This is a busy payroll that will require someone who enjoys the hustle and bustle of working with such large volumes. Located in the inner South Eastern suburbs the business offers 2 days WFH each week
You will be responsible for:
- End to end processing of company payrolls
- Setting up new starters, adjusting employee details, terminations
- Processing time sheets
- Payroll reporting (entitlements, summaries etc.)
- Interpretation of EBA's & Awards in line with current legislation as required
- Assisting with superannuation & payroll tax
- Assisting with payroll audit requirements

A great attitude is a must, you will be joining a highly successful team environment that will hold you accountable to delivering to a high standard. You will be comfortable with processing end to end payroll & ideally be coming from a larger business environment.
