**About the role**
A fantastic opportunity within our Finance team during a period of exciting growth Up on offer is a Permanent full-time role as a **Financial Analyst(FP&A),** based out of our chic Collins Street Corporate Office at **Melbourne**.
The role will act as a Business Partner to corporate business area functions providing support for financial management performance reporting, accurate budgeting/planning, forecasting, and delivery of high quality financial and analytical reports that support key business initiatives and business performance.
The FP&A analyst will be responsible for consolidation and financial analysis of network and corporate budgets, periodic forecast, and strategic plans. Also, providing financial analysis and insights for key financial results, key drivers, and management performance reports of the business, Network Countries and Corporate Functions.
**What you will do**:
**Finance Business Partnering**
- Act as a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Business Partner to corporate business area managers providing support for financial management performance reporting, accurate budgeting/planning, forecasting, and delivery of high quality financial and analytical reports that support key business initiatives and business performance
- Prepare financial forecast/budget, including costing analysis for resource/staff, travel, IT, marketing, administrative, overhead expense and initiatives planning for corporate business area and corporate central hubs
- Prepare annual CAPEX and depreciation forecast/budget/ strategic plan for corporate business areas.
**Group Financial Planning**
- Prepares consolidation of network and corporate budgets, period forecast and strategic plans
- Provides supporting commentary, analysis, dashboards and bridge reports for periodic forecast, budget and strategic plans for the IDP Group and Global Support Network to assist management in understanding future performance
- Prepares consolidated budget version changes, board budget reporting and GLT financial outlook dashboards and analysis
- Prepares cash flow and balance sheet forecast, providing insights and commentary on key variances to actuals and previous forecasts
**Financial Analysis and Management Reporting**
- Prepares financial management reports, commentaries and insights to performance drivers, supporting analysis for finance board reporting, investor finance pack half year and year end reports, Monthly GLT financial update on volume, geographical and product segments profitability, staff/expense analysis and CAPEX
- Investigates and provides explanation to significant variance against budgets, forecast, prior year performance and other benchmarks to support management in decision making and business improvements.
- Degree Qualified in Accounting & Finance
- Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA)
- Experience in a global and international organisation
- 5 years’ experience in a similar financial planning and analyst role, preferably within a group or corporate function
- Advance skills in Integrated Planning & Management Reporting System (preferably Oracle Planning)
- Advanced MS Excel and power point skills
- Strong analytical skills - ability to extract volumes of data, analyze and present results in a meaningful way understood by management and stakeholders.
- Competent financial modelling skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to details
