**Your role**:As the Industry Liaison Officer you will**:
- Assist in the ongoing delivery of the School Based Apprenticeship program and assist in managing business and industry partnerships to maximise opportunities for secondary students.
- Establish and maintain effective networks and work collaboratively with business and industry groups to build strong and vibrant links that promote School Based Apprenticeships as a career pathway for students.
**Responsibilities include**:
- 1. Delivery and implementation of comprehensive Structured Workplace Learning Program (SWL)
- Monitoring student engagement and reporting progress to parents
- Establishing and implementing processes and procedures for clear communication and operation of program
- Establishing and updating data bases
- Extending network of employers and communication with stakeholders
- Compiling reports for relevant stakeholders
- Conducting visits to students on SWL
- Conduct information sessions with students and parents
- Daily class visits to encourage and
- Coaching and mentoring students around their SWL experience
- Assisting students who may need additional support to gain an SWL placement
- Overseeing and coordinating all associated paperwork pertaining to SWL placements and liaising with student, parents and employers
- Monitoring maintenance and completion of student log books
- Ability to work during the school holidays to visit students on SWL program
- 2. Operational Duties - as directed by Manager including:
- Creating social media posts (Facebook) with current student activities and Centre updates/happenings
- Compiling newsletters and development of promotional materials
- Daily operational duties including but not limited to: telephone, filing on daily basis, development of documents and operational processes, minute taking
- Maintaining SCTTTC records
- Creating spreadsheets and databases - competent in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher
- Liaising and communicating with students, parents, employers, school representatives from administrative staff to Principals
- Completing reports as required
- Promotion of SCTTTC to other schools and in the community
- Assist in the recruitment of students to the SCTTTC and processing of subsequent enrolment documentation
- 3. SCTTTC Events and Activities as directed by SCTTTC Manager
- Assistance with planning and implementation
- Setting up for events including meetings
- Compiling evaluations ad reports
- Attending relevant professional opportunities as a representative of SCTTTC
