
Customer Relationship Representative

We are seeking a Customer Relationship Representative to join our team in a newly created role, managing and growing our Hair Salon customer base, including Salon Retail, Salon Wholesale, Salon Direct and B2B Online.
You will be responsible for strengthening existing relationships and growing the business by developing & executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
This is a full-time position working from the Sydney office and, to a lesser extent, in-field; ideal for anyone living north of Sydney harbour. You will be required to contact customers throughout Australia by phone as part of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program, sometimes traveling to meet with local & regional NSW customers, as well as represent the company at Industry events. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain personnel to optimise the service provided to customers.
Responsibilities (inclusive but not restricted to):
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of Salon customers (Retail & Wholesale) and B2B Online customers in the haircare industry
- Acquire a thorough understanding of the needs of customers and provide them with tailored solutions that meet their expectations and goals
- Serve as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery of our products and services
- Work with Key Account Management personnel to optimise existing customer’ performance and generate new sales opportunities by executing effective sales strategies
- Analyse sales performance and identify areas for improvement and growth
- Manage the onboarding process of new customers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Prepare progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using relevant data and metrics
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain personnel to ensure alignment with customers’ needs and expectations and provide feedback and insights
- Manage all Online Customer Service interactions in order to gain a thorough knowledge of all customer and consumer experiences
- Resolve any issues that arise and escalate them to the appropriate level if needed
**Requirements**:
- Qualified hairdresser with proven experience in sales or similar role in the professional salon haircare industry or related fields
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with key customers and internal teams
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Qualifications in Business or Marketing highly regarded

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
