Accounts Payable Officer - Port Fairy - Full Time Role - Excellent Opportunity - Immediate Start
**Your new role**
As an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, your duties will include but not limited to the following:

- Ensure SAP has cost codes & mapping to correct GL accounts. Must have a thorough knowledge & understanding of the accounts receivable and payable transactions in SAP HANA, ensuring that all processes are completed correctly and timely
- Knowledge & understanding of MS Excel & other MS Office Applications.
- Reconciliation of Vendor Statements with SAP vendor accounts
- Sending Vendor confirmation in some instances after payment run
- Assist Finance Team in bank reconciliation related to accounts payable
- Maintain Vendor invoice track in Excel spread sheet
- Confirmation of the accounts payable invoices to allow separation of duties with the payables process
- Assist in the process of completing all external statutory requirements are lodged in full and on time each month
- Other duties as instructed by the Finance Manager

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum of Cert IV in Financial Services, preference given to Diploma / Bachelor of Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Financial Services, preferably in a Chemical, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or related Industry
- Must maintain all Vendor invoice track in Excel spread sheet
- Confirmation of the accounts payable invoices to allow separation of duties with the payables process
- Assist in the process of completing all external statutory requirements are lodged in full and on time each month
- Other duties as instructed by the Finance Manager
