Our client, an asset owner and services organisation with a great reputation are looking for an expertienced Town Planner who thrives when it comes to community engagement. This role sits within a Telecommunications team and is Sydney based.

The role offers a Town Planner with 3-5 years experience an oppurutnity to work with a great Prgram Director who is a great mentor and leader. Join this team at an exciting time of growth.

The role:

- Liaise, negotiate and understand community feedback.
- Contribute to the development and implementations of stakeholder consultation.
- Complete regular reports and notes on each site to ensure records and stakeholders are kept up to date and aware of changes.
- Conduct planning reviews to determine planning and or community issues that may impact on the site.
- Manage the planning process in accordance with the Deployment Code for Low Impact installations.
- Prepare, lodge, and manage Development Application and Deployment Code activities.

What we are looking for:

- Preferable 3-5 years’ experience as a Town Planner is required, Telecommunications experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Planning Legislation and related systems to make decisions and carry out the role confidently.
- Ability to liaise confidently with a variety of stakeholders both verbally and in a written capacity.
- Efficient with time management and multitasking skills.
- Someone who enjoys the community engagement side of being a Town Planner with a solutions mindset.
- Full Australian driving license.
- Full working rights in Australia
