Senior Town Planner

Attractive salary from $100K - $150K base salary and great conditions including high levels of flexibility re working arrangement, paid overtime and real budget and time for your personal career development. The Company and Team:

This leading Town Planning consultancy has enjoyed significant growth over the past few years and is continuing to grow. The team enjoy a fast-paced environment where they are empowered to deliver for their clients without bureaucracy or ego's getting in the way. You'll work with and be mentored by some of the highest-profile planning experts in NSW and develop your career to the next level. The role will be tailored based upon your current experience level, skills and career goals.

Key responsibilities:

You'll be advising major clients from project scoping through to approval and project delivery including:

  • constraints and opportunity analysis
  • advising on approval pathways including the Transport Oriented Development (TOD) Program
  • Technical review and editing of reports and submissions to gain all relevant approvals
  • council / regulator / government interface
  • client communication
  • client relationship development / business development
  • project management
  • mentoring less experienced planners
  • engaging and managing internal and external specialist consultants as required

The successful candidate:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning
  • A can do attitude - this consultancy is all about solutions and value add for their clients
  • Excellent communication skills and drive for continued development
  • Planning experience gained within a consulting environment
  • You'll be very lucky - opportunities like this don't come along very often and it will open the door for your long term success
