About us:
We’re a casual, multi-faceted business based on Queens Parade, Clifton Hill, with an 86 tram stop at the front and a short walk from Clifton Hill Station. We have been a family-run business for 35+ years and have been running our microbrewery (being the heart of our pub) since 2013 and we are open 7 days a week.

We pride ourselves on giving excellent service and being part of our community, where everyone feels welcome here. Our food is good quality pub food and our beers are small batch and only travel 7 meters from tank to taps

We also operate an attached drive-through bottleshop, which is part of the independent Thirsty Camel bottleshops network.

About the role:
We are looking for a leader for our team at the Brewpub who is positive, hardworking, and flexible.

You will also be responsible for front of house and back of house operations, including implementing, updating & assisting with general administration, rostering & oversight of staff timesheets, cash handling, social media marketing and other administration.

Your tasks may also include:

- Planning menus in consultation with our kitchen team
- Coordinating and managing functions, from booking to execution
- Utilising a budget to purchase goods for the business and price accordingly
- Keeping records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Making sure the dining areas of the pub comply with all health regulations and are clean and well presented at each service time
- Utilising your strong customer service skills to make sure customers are happy with their meals and their experience at the Brewpub
- Selecting staff, overseeing their training and supervising them on the job - both in the front of house areas like the bar as well as the kitchen - so that our team can continue to improve and shine.
- Making sure reservations and orders are taken correctly
- Greeting customers when they arrive at the Brewpub

Skills and experience:

- 3 years hospitality/management experience in similar roles
- Strong team leadership and motivation skills
- Exceptional customer service and satisfaction skills
- Strong dispute resolution skills
- Experience in dealing with human resourcing, occupational health & safety and liquor licensing requirements as relevant to hospitality in Victoria
- Sound administrative and computer skills
- Proficiency in using booking platforms, ordering platforms and other administrative platforms
- Understanding of profit & loss, weekly budgets, and forecasting
- Ability to implement an effective social media plan
- A strong understanding of the business, management and financial skills required to run a successful venue, with the view to achieve outstanding results.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $79,999.00 per year
