**The Company**
A leading Civil Construction contractor that has an established portfolio of projects throughout Melbourne. Their projects vary from single units infill site to large industrial developments.
Our client values their team and believes everyone has a role to play in delivering the best for their clients.
**The Role**
This role is responsible for ensuring allocated accounts are process to meet all accounts payable targets and deadlines. This role also has an element of project admin involved which you will be working with a range of stakeholders.
You will be have the opportunity to grow your career as our client supports and is big on training and development.
**What you will be doing**
- Verify the accuracy of invoice and dockets
- Contribute to the Accounts Payable function by processing creditor payments, verifying goods received, investigating discrepancies, and data entry
- Compile and generate reports and verify as required
- Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with the general leger
- Perform other general accounting support tasks
- Provide administrative support to other business functions as required
**What you will bring**
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to use document management and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Industry experience or experience in a high volume transaction environment
