**The Role**

At IAG, we currently have multiple Part-Time Permanent opportunities available for Motor Claims Consultants to join our Team starting November 4th in Melbourne. The primary purpose of the Claims Consultant role is to effectively lodge and/or manage claims in a professional and proactive manner, adhering to legislative requirements and policy directives while delivering exceptional customer service.

The roles will be predominantly Work from Home but based from the Melbourne office. The training period will consist of both Work from Home and in-office learning. To be able to work from home you will be required to have a designated work area and a fixed internet connection.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver performance against business Key Performance Indicators.
- Taking ownership on every call and being accountable for outcomes.
- Address and resolve customer complaints associated with the claims function, within agreed timeframes.
- Accurately record and manage customer claims to mitigate risk of leakage (compliance).
- Provide an effortless claims experience for our customers measured through customer survey results, verbatim feedback, and Quality Listening.
- Demonstrate IAG Mindset, Values and Behaviours.

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven customer service experience.
- Previous experience in insurance is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrate sound computer and literacy skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish relationships.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
