Job Description Summary

The Tenders and Contracts Specialist will analyse and coordinate the administrative, technical and commercial aspects of tendering and contract process. You will actively oversee the efficient and compliant execution of all tendering activities in accordance with company policy and standard and track the status and execution aligns with project deadlines.

This role will support all Business Units. Project management of whole end to end tendering process from the pre‐qualification stage through to the final bid submission, award of contract and engagement close out based upon inputs from Business Leaders, Sales, and Finance departments.

Roles and Responsibility:
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process from the prequalification stage through to the final bid submission, award of contract and engagement close out including attending debrief meetings for unsuccessful tenders- Act as the main point of contact for customers to ensure an optimal level of service is provided.- Proactively collaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify and meet business needs- Be involved in the preparation, coordination and review of all contracts and customer agreements, extensions and variations- Ensure full contract cycle and maintenance of contracts is effectively and accurately managed in required timeframes-
- Recommend and provide support on common contract clauses conflicting with BD’s standard terms and conditions

Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in end to end Tender preparation and submission- Proven communicator with the ability to articulate information to key stakeholders- Strong stakeholder engagement skills - ability to engage and influence- Knowledge of the RFx (Request for Proposals/Quotations/Information) generation process- Sound understanding of commercial terms and conditions of tenders- Knowledge of private and government procurement contracting and tendering principles- Strong attention to detail- Self-motivated and driven to manage workload- Ability to seek ways to continuously improve external and internal customer satisfaction with product or service quality and on‐time delivery- Ability to proactively acquire necessary technical knowledge, skills and judgment to perform job more effectively- Ability to work as part of a group of people, working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel (preferred)

- Experience working in the healthcare industry.
