Our state government client is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Coordinator.

**Your new company**

Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Coordinator to fill their 6 month + temporary vacancy. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a small, well-cultured government team.

**Your new role**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervise payroll services and provide leadership to 2 Payroll Officers
- Deliver a comprehensive partnering and advisory service for a range of HR matters including, recruitment, workforce management, health & safety, legislation interpretation and employee relations
- Implement HR strategies to support organisational objectives
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- State government industry experience is a must.
- Relevant human resource experience
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of relevant government policies, awards, and legislations
- Leadership experience in managing a small team would be desirable.
- Experienced supervising payroll services
