**About the organisation**:
A Victorian agency of the State Government that manages and protects Melbourne's major water resources on behalf of the community.

**The role**:
As a member of the Payroll team, you will provide efficient and effective payroll service to all employees in accordance with relevant Awards, Statutory requirements and policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process fortnightly payroll calculations and timesheets.
- Prepare and distribute fortnightly and monthly HR and payroll reports and ad-hoc HR statistical reports.
- Assist in the preparation and remittance of fortnightly superannuation contributions.
- Assist in the reconciliation of payroll related General Ledger accounts.

**Skills & experience**:

- Strong skills in payroll processing, preparation and data entry.
- Understanding of Australian payroll legislation i.e. NES, taxation and superannuation.
- Ability to prepare statistical and general payroll/personnel-related reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Competent skills in working with large payroll system packages (experience with Kronos essential, Chris21 preferred).
