**Hours of Work of the Role**
0.5FTE
**Description**
- 0.5FTE flexible part-time role
- Hybrid work environment and office in Melbourne CBD
- Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 (pro-rata), plus superannuation
- **Note**: This position is advisory and does not involve payroll processing.
**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct payroll and wage calculations for members and take a proactive approach in supporting the accuracy and timeliness of these functions.
- Assist with complex payroll issues, including ATO regulations, STP reporting codes, superannuation, workers compensation, leave calculations and deductions.
- Maintain accurate records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Stay updated on payroll-related legislation and regulations and assist members with adjustments.
- Provide the external payroll provider with timely updates on relevant wages.
- Develop relevant documentation and information for resource development and payroll codes.
**Qualifications**
**Essential**
- 3+ years payroll related experience (includes bookkeeping)
- Previous experience using business payroll solutions
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
**Desirable**
- Experience in the early childhood education and care sector
- Experience interpreting multiple awards/EBAs
- Bookkeeping qualifications and/ or relevant work experience
