As part of our Vehicles and Tactical Systems business, our Protected Vehicles team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. A great opportunity has become available for a Project Controller to join our Protective Vehicles business, working with a highly dedicated and passionate project team. In this critical role, you will oversee all financial matters for designated Bids & Projects. You will provide financial direction based on relevant and accurate financial information in order to manage risks and increase value for shareholders. This role is based in our Eagle Farm site with flexible work arrangements. Key responsibilities: - Verify that all conditions for coming into force are met and ensure validation by Sales administration of order booking. - Initialising projects (reviewing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), - Allocating the total budget, implementing management tools and structuring management of risks and opportunities), defining the sales and margin recognition method. - Validating sales, gross margin and adjusted gross margin project accounting. - Measure and analysing the cost variances between actuals, forecasts, budget and baselines. - Re-evaluating the position at the end of the project (Estimate at Completion) - Carrying out final work in order to limit risks that might arise after delivery to the customer and performing post-completion evaluation of the project. About you: - Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in Accounting member of professional accounting body - Strong experience in the Finance function. - Experience in a Projects Controller position - Demonstrated experience in continuously optimising business performance and processes - Exceptional written and verbal communication - Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). - Strong internal stakeholder management in a matrix organisation.
