Loan Maintenance - Lending Support Officer

**About the role****:

- Full-time, permanent**

As a Support Officer, you will play a crucial part of ensuring our lending process runs smoothly and efficiently, providing a seamless experience for our members every step of the way. In this role, you will be responsible for loan maintenance, including preparing loan documentation, ensuring all loan conditions are met, handling settlements, and managing the security and maintenance of loan files. Working closely with our members, you take pride in your work ensuring that every document is spot on, every condition is checked, and every deadline is met.

Key responsibilities include:

- Completing tasks with a demonstrated sense of urgency and in line with agreed service levels and key performance indicators.
- Using analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to proactively seek opportunities to identify solutions that are mutually beneficial to the member and People First Bank, whilst mitigating risks.
- In addition to loan acquisition activities, processing and completion of mortgage settlement and life of loan maintenance activities including, but not limited to, releases, substitutions, variation requests, advances and build draw downs.
- Quality control through examination of work performed by others and/or data validation.

**Location**

Due to the hands-on requirements for this role, we are seeking applicants based in Adelaide who can work from our head office full-time to complete the duties for this role.
