Internal Audit Manager

**Full Time Opportunity**

As our Internal Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in proactively limiting risk across the business through identifying potential issues and working with leaders to find solutions in accordance with audit procedure.

We have an established Audit program and Framework that is reviewed annually to ensure that we are tackling key issues or concerns; as well as carrying out the audits and submitting recommendations, you will maintain oversight of the solutions to ensure they are effectively carried out.

As the key member of our Internal Audit function, you will work closely with the General Manager, Risk & Compliance to ensure audit methodologies and programs compliment the overall Risk Management Framework and to prioritise the Audit program for each year. You will attend the monthly Risk and Compliance Committee meetings to present updates and findings on live audits, as well as to report on ongoing improvements. You will also be required to present to the Board and other Committees as required.

**What are we looking for?**
- You will be an experienced internal auditor, ideally in a role where you have a high degree of autonomy. Experience within the insurance or financial services industry would be beneficial.
- It is important that you have strong influencing and interpersonal skills. You will be dealing regularly with senior executives and other leaders throughout the business and must be able to clearly explain any findings or requirements you have during the audit process.
- You will have demonstrable experience in collecting, analysing and presenting data to leaders at all levels, in particular to C-suite. You will need to walk these leaders through any findings and answer questions they have on the methodology or conclusions you have come to.
- We are looking for a trusted advisor, not a policeman. You will relish building relationships and networks across the business and seek opportunities to help Greenstone continuously improve.
- Lastly, you will have a passion for internal audit - whilst we have established frameworks and practices in place we're always looking to improve. You will bring fresh ideas, a new perspective and an ongoing curiosity to help ensure that our Audit practices remain best practice.
