This is an exciting opportunity for someone with outstanding customer service skills or even prior dental assisting experience looking to grow into a more administrative position.
**About Us**
We are a modern and established dental practice with a passionate team of dentists, oral health therapists and hygienists. We are known for not just our outstanding clinical outcomes but for building long-term relationships with our patients and team members. Our practice is located at the entrance to Chapel Street, Melbourne’s iconic cultural epicentre, with easy access to public transport and all day parking accessible.
**The Position**
This position provides the opportunity to involve yourself in administrative duties as well as sales and customer service.
While this position encompasses all administrative duties to ensure things run as smooth as possible, the priority is on supporting our clinicians’ treatment recommendations to our patients end-to-end from building case acceptance to follow-up patient care.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivering that ‘wow’ patient experience
- Coordinating appointment bookings and treatment plans
- Processing and managing patient accounts including coordinating financial arrangements for patients
- Other general office admin
**About you**
- Ideally have at least 2 years administrative or sales experience (experience in the dental or health industry is preferred but not essential).
- An approachable ‘people person’ with strong communication skills and an enthusiastic personality
- An adaptable team player who is excited to take on new ideas and opportunities
- Proactive, motivated and high attention to detail
- Computer literacy skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
