This is a senior position, reporting to the Head of Sales which is critical to the future success of their business.

**The Role**
- Lead and develop a team of learning and development associates
- Set clear performance objectives, support and develop the team to deliver on annual training plans that are aligned with business strategy and identified needs of the sales force
- Research and identify market trends, best practices, standards to incorporate into training solutions
- Work collaboratively with the sales team, sales managers, together with Marketing and Medical to give input into market needs
- Assess L&D delivery methods to meet the participants' needs and to provide a blended learning approach
- Provide an innovative approach to training methods that are agile, and efficient and maximise the opportunity for learning
- Provide gap analysis to identify new training solutions as required
- Be an insightful advisor into product and launch strategies
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous extensive experience in sales management and sales training
- Understanding of sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry with insights into sales strategy and delivery
- Solid understanding of training process and training needs identification
- Excellent capability as a trainer
- Collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills
