**The Company**

My client is a manufacturer who has experienced significant recent growth through local and international demand for their product. Producing high quality, niche products, they require a talented Supply Chain Manager to assist with Purchasing, Inventory, Demand, Supply and Production Planning. With an emphasis on innovation and investment this business will offer excellent opportunities for career progression.

**The Role**
- Purchase all raw materials moving into production
- Ensure the production planning process is timely, accurate and verifiable
- Manage logistics movements including inbound, warehousing and outbound
- Assist with the implementation of optimum inventory levels to ensure delivery to meet agreed service levels
- Ensure safety stock and raw materials are available
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure production is aligned with forecasts
- Provide performance feedback to sales, marketing, operations and finance

**Your Background**
- You will have at least 5 years' experience in a leadership role within manufacturing, ideally an FMCG business. Previous experience purchasing raw materials is non-negotiable
- Exposure to a flexible, customer driven supply chain
- Good understanding of forecasting systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to make strong decisions and engage current team members
- Ideally tertiary educated to a Bachelor level
