**Commissioning Manager**

**Salary**: $150,000 plus superannuation

**The Role**

As the **Commissioning Manager**, you will provide technical leadership and expertise, managing commissioning activities to ensure successful project outcomes. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, overseeing the design and planning of power generation equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, coach, and mentor a team to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
- Plan and design power generation equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, and relays.
- Manage resources for the supply of electrical components and equipment.
- Develop and maintain documentation to meet commissioning requirements.
- Oversee the installation and operation of electrical systems, including power stations and transmission lines.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, conducting daily inspections and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in substations, switchgear, circuit breakers, transmission lines, and electric motors.
- Strong understanding of contract and tender processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage KPIs, margins, and sales targets.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and commissioning software.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
