**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Due to an extended period of leave, a 12-month fixed-term contract has become available on a full-time basis. As an integral member of the Injury Management team, you will provide crucial administrative support to the Injury Management Advisors to ensure injured workers get the care and support they deserve. This exciting opportunity will involve a high level of administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation while ensuring timely and accurate processing of workers’ compensation claims.

**This hybrid full-time opportunity will be based in the Strathpine office with free onsite parking and discounted barista-made coffee.**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Manage the administration lifecycle of Workers Compensation claims: notify injuries, Lodge claims, process expenses, ensure accurate and complete records, and ensure timely resolution.
- Work with insurers to set accurate pay rates, process weekly workers’ compensation pay, seek reimbursement from insurers and reconcile monthly.
- Manage medical expense payments from reimbursing team members to creating vendors in SAP and raising purchase orders.
- Assist Injury Management Advisors in submitting and maintaining administrative records on workers’ compensation claims.
- Liaise with stakeholders: Insurers, medical providers, legal representatives, and team members as required.
- Maintain complete and accurate records in the Claims Management system: Claim files, medical reports, and all correspondence.
- Ensure compliance: with varied State’s Workers Compensation legislation as well as SRG procedures and data privacy.
- Undertake project and ad hoc work where it’s administrative or process driven.
- Prepare reports: support provision of reporting as required, set up and maintain various reports for workers’ compensation, motor and general insurance, end of year payroll reporting etc.
- Partner closely with Payroll to ensure injured team members get paid as well as Finance and the Insurers for the reimbursement of claims.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Significant and demonstrated experience in an administrative role from an Insurer or an employer where you have supported workers compensation claims from an injury management or Payroll perspective.
- A collaborative team player who actively contributes and supports SRG to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport.
- Strong Administrative & Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and flexibility to adapt to shared team priorities if required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Worker’s Compensation Knowledge: Knowledge of workers compensation legislation and how it differences between states.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and ideally some experience with SAP.
- Key Competencies: Attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, compliance, time management, and excellent communication.
