**The Role - Payroll Manager**

Reporting to the COO, labour hire, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for the effective leadership of the payroll team. Th Payroll Manager will oversee and strengthen financial controls and processes, provide management reporting, and build stakeholder engagement. Position based in Adelaide or Mildura, weekly flexible working day.

**As Payroll Manager, you will**:

- Manage the delivery of an effective payroll operation ensuring payments, disbursements, checking and reconciliation procedures are in place and undertaken each week
- Establish, lead and mentor the payroll team
- Manage and review the preparation, balancing, and reconciliation of PAYE tax
- Collaborate with the CFO and finance team
- Develop and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual management reports
- Develop, review and improve payroll policies and procedures

**Your Skills and Attributes**
- Minimum four years experience in high-volume payroll
- History of successfully leading a team (including remote employees)
- Intermediate to Advanced excel skills
- Ability to interpret awards and industrial agreements.
- Problem-solving and data-driven.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
