**The team**

The Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) group drives transformational change and key technology services across ASIC, including IT, Cyber Security, Data, Digital, Portfolio Office, and Registry Connect (modernising business registers). The DD&T Portfolio Office ensures strategic delivery through governance, facilitation, assurance, reporting, and capability uplift in change and project management.

**The role**

In this role, you will lead and embed risk and assurance practices across the full delivery spectrum of project, program, and portfolio. Working in close partnership with Program and Project Managers, you'll provide expert guidance, facilitate independent reviews, and ensure alignment with ASIC's enterprise risk and governance frameworks.

You'll also engage directly with senior stakeholders, including the Executive Committee, Commission and key risk forums, delivering clear, actionable insights and driving continuous improvement.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Developing and executing a portfolio wide risk and assurance plan
- Conducting complexity assessments and assurance reviews across projects and programs
- Facilitating risk workshops and coaching delivery teams
- Providing high quality risk reporting and analysis to senior governance forums
- Liaising with the Chief Risk Office to ensure strategic alignment
- Promoting risk maturity uplift through knowledge sharing and process improvements

**About you**

You will bring demonstrated deep experience in project, program and portfolio level risk management and assurance, with proven ability to influence and support senior stakeholders. Strong knowledge of frameworks and qualifications in PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile and MSP will be highly regarded.

**Other skills will include**:

- Advanced written and verbal communication, capable of conveying complex analysis across all levels
- Proficiency in analysis and presentation tools (Microsoft suite, Power BI)
- Strong project risk management, collaborating with Project Managers and delivering 'Centre of Excellence' services
- Experience in onboarding, coaching Project Managers in Risk and Assurance, and governance reporting
- Effective leadership and coaching skills, driving positive influence and results
- Strong organisational and time management, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication with technical expertise; experienced in data visualisation for reporting
- Relevant tertiary qualification
