As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner you will lead a small team and provide talent acquisition expertise throughout the full life-cycle recruitment process. This will include providing proactive internal and external recruitment strategies and best in class experience, enabling the appointment of talented individuals who meet QBE’s current and future talent needs.

The opportunity

Do you enjoy project focused recruitment, combining the planning, reporting and execution elements of project delivery? We are seeking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract where you will lead a small team responsible for the design and delivery of high volume recruitment. As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will partner with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to provide talent acquisition expertise, including:

- Leading and managing 1 direct report
- Engaging with the business to understand strategic objectives, team culture and capability expectations
- Ongoing reporting and process improvements
- Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure we attract talented people from the breadth of the communities in which we operate

Your story so far

With proven recruitment experience ideally from within a complex organisation, you will have a passion for implementing best practice talent acquisition methodologies including talent attraction, mapping, networking, pooling, assessment and selection. In addition, you will have:

- The ability to establish a high degree of trust and credibility with stakeholders
- A motivational, inspirational and enthusiastic approach to teamwork
- The ability to think creatively and innovatively whilst effectively prioritising competing priorities
