What is the role?

Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Leader Fleet

The role requires the ability to manipulate, analyse and report on large amounts of data to forecast and manage a fleet of over 1200 vehicles nationally. Mentoring CFO fleet team staff in the effective use of AFP corporate systems such as SAP (IMS, Assets and Fleet 5),Insight and the supporting processes and ensuring compliance with Commonwealth and AFP Governance.

The role requires advanced Microsoft excel skills and the ability to manipulate, analyse and report on large amounts of data to forecast and manage a fleet of over 1200 vehicles nationally. The position cultivates productive working relationships with key internal stakeholders such as ACT Policing, Covert Services, Specialist Protective Command and regional Fleet representatives.

As a Team Leader you also play a pivotal role in developing people, managing change and influencing behaviours that lead to a supportive culture that respects the perspectives, talents and value of each individual. Consistent with the AFP values, AFP leadership philosophy, organisational reform agendas, AFP corporate business plans and your Performance Development Agreement, the expectation is that you will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

What will you do?

**Primary responsibilities include**:
Prosecuting the direction of the Coordinator in delivering fleet services.
Working with multiple AFP portfolios and external stakeholders to deliver fleet outcomes including ACIC and AusTRAC shared services agenda - Fleet management.
Mentoring CFO fleet team staff in the effective use of AFP corporate systems such as SAP (IMS, Assets and Fleet 5),Insight and the supporting processes.
Ensuring compliance with Commonwealth and AFP Governance.
Establishing and maintaining effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
Intermediate Microsoft excel including the ability to manipulate, analyse and report on large volumes of data.
Providing representation within various forums and committees to inform AFP best practice and strategic outcomes.
Essential Requirements

You must be an Australian Citizen.
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Experience in leadership or demonstrated ability to lead a small team.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel including the ability to manipulate, analyse and report on data
Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (TLI41218) or ability to undertake.
Contract management.
Desirable Requirements

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:
Previous experience utilising the SAP Asset modules
