**About your team**:
The Chief Financial Officer's Group (CFO Group) is responsible for the delivery of fiscal management services across the organisation. Key responsibilities of the group include taxation, commercial finance, corporate accounting, capital planning, valuations, investment management, risk management and treasury. We are also accountable for the organisation’s strategic property portfolio.

The Finance and Corporate Support Branch is responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability of DHA, by supporting effective decision making, resource allocation and policy compliance for both internal and external
stakeholders.

**Your Contribution**:
Corporate Shared Services (CSS) is a fast paced, service delivery area which requires a strong team leader to manage a team of Officers and Senior Officers to deliver services within tight deadlines and in some instances, under high pressure. You will have experience effectively communicating within a team environment, specifically when relaying any changes to the operating environment such as policies, procedures and organisational changes.

You will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of your team, focusing on work performance and ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently in the delivery of shared services. You will review and analyse your teams Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational data reports, and you will link your analysis to business improvement initiatives.

**You will have the following skills to be successful in this role**:

- experience leading, developing and managing a team, setting the direction of work priorities and practices, monitoring workflows, and coaching, guiding and developing employees.
- demonstrated experience working in a team environment in order to develop and achieve individual and team KPIs and SLAs.
- a proven ability to deliver outcomes whilst managing high volumes of business-as-usual tasks and competing priorities under limited guidance.
- excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills including the ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders both verbally and written, including, strong organization and decision-making skills, sound judgement and attention to detail.
- experience in leading accounts payable, travel, and/or fleet management teams will be well regarded.
