**The opportunity**

The National Fleet team is ASIO's centralised vehicle management team. The team manages and coordinates all aspects of ASIO's vehicles, including procurement, administration, policy, risk management, reporting requirements and internal and external stakeholder engagement.

As a National Fleet Support Officer, you will contribute to the effective management of ASIO's vehicle fleet and facilities and maintain key relationships with stakeholders.

A merit pool may be created to fill future vacancies which have the same or similar requirements to this position. This merit pool will be valid for up to 18 months.

**Role responsibilities**

As a National Fleet Support Officer in ASIO, you will:

- Assist with administration of capital and operational expenditure budgets.
- Assist with procurement, administration and disposal of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate and up to date asset registers.
- Coordinate procurement and disposal activities.
- Maintain relationship with vehicle users to inform maintenance schedules and procurement decisions.
- Record, monitor and analyse vehicle usage and expenditure to inform decisions.
- Assist with management of Fringe Benefit Tax recording and reporting.

To be eligible for the role, you must be:

- An Australian citizen.
- Assessed as suitable to hold and maintain a TOP SECRET-Privileged Access security clearance.
