Suncorp Personal Injury Claims (PIC) aspires to be the leading personal injury insurer. Due to exciting internal progression we have an opportunity for a **Negotiation Specialist** to join our CTP Claims business. This busy and varied role will see you managing and negotiating across a portfolio of CTP claims comprising of all severity types.
You will actively identify resolution opportunities, develop and deploy effective strategies for CTP Claims and negotiate favourable early settlements and/or progress matters through timely litigation in line with our customer vision, business outcomes and legislative requirements.
Co-ordinate and deliver performance coaching, driving continuous improvement in timing and outcomes of resolving claims, supporting the achievement of business goals and create value for our customers.

**What you’ll do**
- Driving settlement of claims in a timely and cost-effective manner in accordance with legislative, regulatory and procedural guidelines
- Developing and deploying effective claims resolution and settlement strategies
- Challenge and develop business processes to drive an improved customer experience, cost efficiency and financial performance
- Management and negotiation of pre-proceedings and litigated claims, including communication with claimants and solicitors, by phone, correspondence and/or attending settlement conferences and/or hearing
- Provide side by side technical coaching and mentoring to team members to help share knowledge, ensure sound decision making, build technical capabilities and improve performance
**What you’ll bring**
- At least 3 years’ experience with managing a portfolio of CTP claims
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, Insurance or related filed - Desired
- Can demonstrate good negotiation and resolution skills
- High standard of written and verbal communication across traditional and electronic communication media
