**Learning & Development Officer**

We are seeking a Learning & Development Officer to deliver engaging learning experiences with a focus on onboarding, digital learning, and improving learning systems. Support and coordinate key initiatives across the first 90 days, compliance training, and leadership development.

**Key Responsibilites -**

**Lead and manage onboarding experience**
- Coordinate and facilitate fortnightly New Starter Welcome Days (NSW, VIC, QLD)
- Oversee onboarding logistics, pre-learning compliance, and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure alignment with Fair Work and Early Years Learning frameworks
- Review and refine onboarding materials and digital content

**Oversee L&D administration and logistics**
- Manage learning calendar, training sessions, room bookings, and materials
- Track attendance, update LMS records, and manage feedback/reporting

**Drive digital learning experience**
- Enhance use of LMS and create engaging digital learning content
- Administer LMS (user setup, content management, system settings)

**Support system and process improvements**
- Improve onboarding/offboarding processes and digital HR systems
- Contribute to continuous learning and employee journey design

**Contribute to L&D strategy and initiatives**
- Support annual L&OD plans and contribute to strategic planning
- Assist with major L&D events (e.g. Leaders Conference, OAC LEAD sessions)

**Qualifications & Experience -**
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is desirable (not essential)
- Experience in delivering, and evaluating impactful training programs or learning initiatives.
- Experience with onboarding / first 90 days success learning pathways and content
- Understanding of adult learning principles and proficiency in instructional design methodologies.
- Experience in an early childhood education environment is a plus
