We are currently seeking an additional Finance Officer to join our team. This role is integral to the operation of Rural Affinity, ensuring that financial functions are managed with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately recording receipts and liaising with clients and partners on accounts receivable.
  • Credit control including following up outstanding receivables.
  • Management of trust accounts to ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Preparation of reports to external stakeholders and authorities.
  • Support the finance team in the execution of it responsibility as required.

About You:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Critical thinker with excellent attention to detail, and an ability to resolve problems and issues when they arise.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be a reliable member of a team.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to learn and improve.
  • Experience in a similar finance role, especially in the insurance industry, a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB) and Microsoft Office.
