**The Role**

The Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Advisor will be responsible for providing support to the QHSE Team, ensuring that the Quality Management System is effectively maintained and continuously improved.

The role will also be critical in promoting a positive QHSE culture that encourages staff to maintain a high level of awareness and compliance to achieve Krispy Kreme’s QHSE objectives.

The QHSE Advisor will provide insights and recommendations to the QHSE Manager based on research and analysing current trends and performance.

Every day at Krispy Kreme presents different challenges and while you will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet them all, there are some tasks that will form the backbone of your work as a QHSE Advisor:

- Maintain and review the QHSE management system, with a lens for continuous improvement
- Review and provide recommendations for improvements in our quality processes, document controls, records and data. Including working towards developing systems to digitise paper-based records and data systems
- Develop weekly and monthly reports, and provide summaries and recommendations to the QHSE Manager
- Update and review QHSE master registers such as risk, legal, aspect impact, incident/hazard and more
- Aid and counsel our operational teams in safety and quality matters such as incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action close out
- Preparing safety communications and topical support materials for distribution across Krispy Kreme operational teams such as Safety Flashes, Toolbox Talk templates and publications designed to coach and raise the general QHSE awareness
- Assist with design of system improvements and development of supporting materials that are easy to implement across a multi-site business
- Assist with achieving Krispy Kreme’s sustainability goals through supporting the development of environmental programs such as waste avoidance and water/energy reduction schemes.
- Assist with systemising and collating resource consumption data associated with Krispy Kreme’s greenhouse gas inventory
- Undertake internal assessments designed to coach our operational teams towards achieving Krispy Kreme operational excellence standards
- Ensure established consultative forums continue to be utilised for the development and implementation of system improvements and changes that have a potential QHSE impact on our workers, products, or facilities

- Consistent and accurate QHSE reporting and analysing is completed for all trackable metrics with a continuous improvement mindset
- You provide regular support and guidance to Field teams, regularly taking part in area and site meetings to promote and action Safety and Quality concerns
- Biannual operational audits are completed and successfully communicated with a continuous improvement mindset

**What you can bring to the team**

We firmly believe in hiring for cultural contribution and training for skills, however there are some things we need from you:

- Knowledge of relevant ANZ food safety, WHS and Environmental regulatory framework
- Application and knowledge of ISO or GFSI standards within a FMCG business
- Knowledge of audit principals and techniques
- Ability to identify root-cause or trends in reporting, with a continually improving mindset
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use initiative to problem solve
- Ability to positively influence and lead by example
- Effective business communication and report writing skills
- Self-motivation, with the ability to be hands on with a can-do attitude
- Be flexible and be willing to be a team player
- Commitment to work with a culturally diverse workforce
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel within ANZ
